Just quick teture/shape studies that I'll be using as the door decorations for the Early College Program sutdents' doors.

The staples are just so theres no wrinkling (from wet glue) and so I can make them quickly. The staples will also be covered up by the kids' names once I put them on their doors.

I got a new scanner recently and I'm still messing with settings. I realize these scans are really small. 75dpi jpgs. Just wondering how long it takes and what they looked like when I used those settings.

I'll finally be moving to the Chicago Building sometime this week. I have to because the ECP kids will be here on Sunday. So I have to be living in the building to be their Residential Advisor.

This means...more collages to come soon. I've been in withdrawal. I'm having fun drawing though. I plan to keep that up and keep posting drawings.

I have a few pages in a newly started sketchbook that I will be uploading soon. I want to upload as many as possible at once so I am holding off on uploading one at a time. Since I'm unable to make physical collages in the meantime, I'll pick up my wacom tablet again and make digital ones. I feel really bad that no content has been going up on the blog lately. I promise the content will be more frequent once my living situation is not in limbo. Thanks for the patience guys.

After looking at a comic book artist's sketchbook, I've been inspired to go out into the world and draw more. Going to places and drawing nature, people, etc. Since its summer, I'll definitely be doing more of this. Today I bought a nice sketchbook that I can do wet media drawings in too so I'll probably be doing that soon. I want to go to the lily pad pond near lincoln park zoo in the coming days and make a day of drawing out of it. It should be awesome. Makes me wanna get a bike too.
