Our Responsibility.

I was talking with some friends of mine tonight and I am so happy with how accepting they are. They are the people that will keep our Earth alive. They care about their children and their friends.

I feel that the Earth is a living thing. It breaths and consumes and loves as we do. It is infinite. It has cycles. It is the Earth and we are humanity. We inhabit the Earth. We are guests. The Earth allows us to stay. It gives us water. We take it's water. It gives us plants. We take it's plants. We give nothing back to the Earth.

We are humanity. We are smart. We are hungry. We eat berries. We are cold. We learn to make fire. We learn. Overall, we learn. We know that we've learned. We know we can learn again. We see each other and smile. We love. We support each other. But, we are scared of being hurt. We do not want to be hungry. We become friends. We live together. We make families. We teach our children. We love. We meet other families. They are now "They." We know they will always be them, and we will always be us. Only me and my family. Only my food. Only my fire. Only you and your family. Only you and your food. Only you and your fire. You are so far away. Can I love you? Can you love me? I don't know. I'm afraid.

I have a need. I need food. You are taking all of it. May I have some? Why won't you give me any? I am afraid. I will join your family. But, please give me food. You are separate from me. I am never part of your family because I am afraid.

We both die. You having never loved another, and I having died afraid. Earth is sad.

I love you. You love me. We love. We die. Our love goes. To the Earth.

In our world now, we can no longer love everyone around us. We can only forgive everyone around us. We need to love each other to create something beautiful and give back to the Earth. We can do this together.

Intelligence is a blessing and a curse. We don't need technology to live. We need each other. When we think about all the things around us, we neglect each other. When I have something you don't, I am now the object of envy and jealousy. Humans are beautiful creatures. Why can't you love me if you don't have what I have? Why can't I love you if I don't have what you have? The Earth is giving us things. If you take everything the Earth is giving, what do I do? I'm afraid. You have things I don't. I need those things. Why can't we share?

If we know what is good, why do we neglect it?

Love is good. We can do this together.
